Elliott AKA Elly is an artist and creative based out of Queens, NY. Since 2009 they have been tattooing their way across skin and into people’s hearts. They are a proud trans person dedicated to using their voice and platform to make visible the agency, power, and movement of LGBTQIA+ people. Elliott’s playful, organic, and retro aesthetic has been cultivated through their formal art training and lived experience as a person with a compassionate heart and adventurous spirit. As a queer Puerto Rican, Elliott attributes their passion for visual design to their interest in connecting people from diverse backgrounds. Whether it’s a tattoo, pen and paper, painting, sculpture, or anything in between, for Elliott, creative expression is the ultimate forum for building bridges across communities.

Tattoos can be a way of claiming ownership over one’s body, therefore Elliott strives to carve out a more inclusive and autonomous space for their clients. They see tattooing as more of a collaboration than just a service being performed for a customer. The entire process should be treated with a mutual respect amongst client and tattooer, and that is exactly what Elliott aims for.
