be sure to get a good nights rest before your appointment.
EAT!! make sure you eat something before you come in! depending on how long your session is for it might be a good idea to bring a snack with you
Be well hydrated! water will help you tremendously with getting through your tattoo as well as afterwards while you’re healing.
wear comfortable clothes that allow access to the area you want to be tattooed. I heavily suggest wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little ink on.
You must be 18 years or older to get tattooed in the State of NY, regardless of parental consent.
Bring your photo ID. valid forms of id include: Drivers license or permit, passport, and non-drivers state ID. Your ID can not be expired.
If your current id doesn’t reflect your preferred name or gender that’s totally fine, please let me know so I can refer to you correctly. I only need your legal name on the paperwork for legal purposes.
Artwork can not be sent out in advanced under any circumstances. You will have the chance to view the final plan, size and placement at the time of your appointment. If small adjustments are desired that can be done the day of, if major rework is necessary we may need to reschedule to a later date.
if you decide to change your tattoo idea after our consultation, please contact me as soon as possible! short notice may result in the need to reschedule your appointment and require you to leave a new deposit.
Rescheduling/cancellation & deposit Policies
please give at least 48 hr notice before rescheduling your appointment. Lack of appropriate notice will result in the forfeit of your deposit and will require a new deposit to be made in order to rebook a new appointment date.
you may reschedule your appointment with appropriate notice a maximum of twice before needing to leave a new deposit to rebook.
deposits are good for up to a year after they are made, after that you may need to leave a new deposit.
There is a 30 minute lateness window at the time of your appointment, anymore than that you may need to reschedule your appointment.
please understand many hours go into the preparation of your design before your appointment, for this reason all deposits are not refundable.
there are few exceptions to these rules so please be communicative with me. life is hard and I understand!
I believe getting a tattoo is a collaboration between the artist and the client. I will never tell you what you should or shouldn’t do on your own body. I will offer my professional opinion and try to guide you in a direction that will result in the best possible end result. You have the ultimate say in whether you’d like to get something tattooed on you.
getting a tattoo is a voluntary process for both parties! that being said, I reserve the right to deny service for any reason including: visible intoxication, health concerns that may effect the tattooing process, or distressing/rude behavior
